About the creator and CEO of Recandledkindled:

My name is Ashley Green and I’m, originally, from Miami, FL. After getting a B.S. and M.S from The Florida State University, I decided to spend some additional time in Tallahassee, FL. My family is from Jamaica and you’ll notice that a few scents are inspired by all of these things. 

I’m, currently, an 11th and 12th grade English teacher in Tallahassee, FL. You’ll notice that my logo reflects some of the fun spirit I like to bring to my classroom. 

My first passion is creativity and all things follow. In the classroom, in my home, and in my heart. 

My love for candle making comes from a combination of my love for candles and being creative. There’s nothing better than finding a new way to give something another life. With every piece of glassware comes a story we should celebrate. Initially, I wanted to make candles for myself because I love them that much, but after the overwhelming support from family and friends, I decided to share my love for candles, repurposing, storytelling, and calming scents with as many folks as I can. Please enjoy!
